About the art

01

Flores Móviles (Flores Mobiles) is a sculptural work inspired by the delicate forms of flowers and their constant state of movement and transformation. Composed of interconnected elements, the sculpture evokes a sense of fluidity and growth, reflecting the rhythms of the natural world. Conceived as a celebration of life and nature, the work symbolizes resilience and the continuous cycle of renewal, inviting viewers to reflect on balance, harmony, and the fragility inherent in organic forms. Yvonne Domenge was a renowned Mexican sculptor known for her large-scale works and a distinctive style that often incorporated organic forms and vibrant colors. Over a career spanning several decades, her work was exhibited widely in international exhibitions and public spaces. Deeply influenced by nature, Domenge’s practice explored the relationship between form, space, and environment. She passed away in 2019, leaving behind a lasting artistic legacy.
