Student Research and Travel
Education at Qatar Foundation is never limited to the classroom. Our students have the opportunity to supplement their studies with hands-on experiences in Qatar and overseas.
Introduction
01Our students learn beyond borders, with numerous opportunities to supplement their studies with hands-on experiences both in Qatar and abroad.
Whether you study abroad, undertake residencies at the world’s top organizations, or pursue your research interests, we provide all the resources you will need to gain the experiences required to best prepare you for your future career and become an engaged global citizen.
Research Opportunities
02Students can pursue their research interests through a variety of grants, fellowships, and funding opportunities—both from their university as well as Qatar Foundation’s research programs
Study Home and Away
03As a student at one of our partner universities, you will have the unique opportunity to study abroad at your respective university’s main campus or in a certified, international university of your preference.
These exchange programs can last from one semester to a full academic year, giving students a chance to continue pursuing the same degree in a new setting, while experiencing the tradition and history of the other campuses.
Explore the World
04While classrooms lay the foundations for a modern education, we believe experiences outside the classroom are essential in preparing students for life beyond university.
Gain the cultural exposure your future demands
In addition to being able to study abroad, students at Qatar Foundation also participate in international service learning trips, overseas residencies, and global internships in all corners of the globe. South Africa, Philippines, China, United States, Spain, Cambodia, and Tanzania are just a few of the countries our students have recently visited as part of international programs with Qatar Foundation.
Our techology and innovation hub, Qatar Science & Technology Park, also takes students on an annual trip to the Silicon Valley in California, USA, where they visit some of the world’s most innovative companies.
