Autism Community Hub

Your guide to support and services at Qatar Foundation

Navigating autism support can feel like a lot to take on. Our Autism Community Hub brings together resources and programs across seven pathways, so individuals with autism and their families can find the right support at every stage of life.

Assessment and Diagnosis

If you've noticed something different about how your child communicates or engages with the world, an early assessment can bring clarity. It's the first step toward understanding your child's needs and accessing the right support.

Health and Therapy

After a diagnosis, the focus shifts to understanding your child's individual needs and putting the right therapeutic support in place. The earlier that happens, the greater the difference it makes.

Family Support

Supporting a child with autism is a full-time commitment. This pathway is here to make sure families have the knowledge, tools, and community around them to feel confident at every stage of the journey.

Special Education

Every child deserves an education built around their individual needs. This pathway brings together specialist schools and in-school support services designed to help students with autism learn and thrive.

Vocational Training and Life Skills

Building independence takes time and the right opportunities. This pathway brings together programs that help young people with autism develop practical skills, explore their interests, and prepare for life beyond the classroom.

Higher Education and Employment

A meaningful career is within reach. This pathway brings together the academic support, employment programs, and career development resources available to young people with autism across QF.

Community Services

Belonging matters at every stage of life. This pathway brings together the inclusive programs, accessible spaces, and community activities available to individuals with autism and their families across QF.

QF's autism support is rooted in a long-standing national commitment to inclusion and human development. That commitment took shape on the world stage in 2007, when Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, proposed designating April 2 as the World Autism Awareness Day at the United Nations General Assembly, a resolution all Member States adopted unanimously.
