About the offering
01The SANAD Student Support Team operates within mainstream Qatar Foundation schools, working in collaboration with specialists from The Learning Center to provide tiered support for students, including those on the autism spectrum and those previously diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. Support is delivered across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 levels, ensuring that interventions are appropriately aligned with each student’s needs.
The team also leads awareness initiatives and supports school counselors in delivering small group sessions focused on social and emotional learning. These sessions help students develop essential skills such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship-building, and responsible decision-making. In addition, the team contributes to the implementation of individualized support plans that promote student success both inside and outside the classroom.
Families interested in exploring how their child may benefit from SANAD support can contact a representative from Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education department for further information on available services and the referral process.
