About the offering
01Georgetown University in Qatar provides academic accommodations and support services for all students, including students with autism, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. As a branch campus of Georgetown University, GU-Q applies this legal framework, which prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities, across all areas of campus life.
Students with cognitive, psychological, or physical disabilities may submit the required documentation to the Student Wellness and Counseling Center for review. Following an assessment process, eligible students are referred to the Office of Academic Success to implement approved accommodations tailored to their individual needs.
Eligibility for reasonable and appropriate accommodations is evaluated in consultation with the Academic Resource Center on Georgetown’s DC campus, helping ensure consistent standards of support across both locations. This coordinated approach enables students to access the academic adjustments necessary for success throughout their studies.
