Vijita Patel is Executive Director for Pre-University Education at Qatar Foundation, specializing in Inclusion, Special Educational Needs (SEN), and neurodiversity.
With over 25 years of experience, she has shaped UK national SEN policy, advised government and third-sector organizations, and co-authored the UK National SEN/D Review Guide. A Fellow of the Chartered College of Teachers, she has led major education initiatives, including a nationally accredited Teaching School and research center focused on teacher development and EdTech innovation.
Vijita serves on international advisory boards and contributes to global discussions on inclusive education through thought leadership and public speaking. She currently sits on the Qatar Foundation Education Development Institute Board.
