Nada Abduljalil Al-Mahmeed is the Director of Translation and Training Center (TII) at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) at Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU), where she leads the audio-descriptive commentary training program catered to visually impaired spectators, which will be delivered at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM.

Al-Mahmeed joined HBKU’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences as a Senior Project Leader in 2016, where she led strategic planning, stakeholders’ relationships, and the college’s marketing and communications.

Al-Mahmeed previously worked at Qatar Development Bank as a Corporate Planning Supervisor, where she was involved in corporate planning and strategy execution governance for more than four years.

Al-Mahmeed holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and minor in English Studies from Carnegie Mellon University – Qatar, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cambridge, UK.
