Dr. Maha Al-Romaihi is the director of Tariq Bin Ziad School, one of Qatar Foundation’s primary schools. She has 20 years of experience in k-12 education, through being a homeroom teacher, curriculum coordination, middle management, and a school director.

Dr. Al Romaihi joined Qatar Academy Doha (QAD) in 2011 as Assistant Principal, then as Deputy Director to serve all divisions in the school, being the first Qatari in the higher management team of the school. During her time there, she strengthened the Arabic, Qatari and Islamic culture programs and identity.

Dr. Al-Romaihi has won the Qatar University “Young Alumni Award” on 2009 for her contributions to education and society, being an example of a successful Qatar University graduate.

Dr. Al-Romaihi holds a PhD in global education from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Qatar University.
