Ameera Al-Aji
Community Arts Lead
Ameera AlAji is the Community Art Lead at Qatar Foundation, where is she oversees QF’s public art collections and creates engaging programs and activations for the public. She’s also a multidisciplinary artist, experimenting with different media such as writing, film, photography, printmaking, and drawings.
In her role at Qatar Foundation, AlAji supports inclusive artistic exploration, multidisciplinary connections, and thought leadership in visual arts, amplifying Qatar as a global art destination by activating QF’s art collections and assets in collaboration with the educational community.
AlAji holds an award in Research and innovation in Fine Arts from the Sheffield Research Office.
AlAji holds a bachelor’s degree in art education from Qatar University and a master’s degree in fine arts, specializing in contemporary art, from Sheffield Hallam University, UK.
