Abdulla Saeed Al-Mohannadi
Forums Manager
Abdulla Al-Mohannadi is the Forums Manager and a Research Fellow at the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH). His expertise lies in health policy, community health, and sports medicine. His research focuses on the intersection of physical, social and environmental factors in promoting community health, such as childhood obesity.
In his role, he oversees and support the development of WISH’s forum reports and sessions, contributing to health policy and health reports impact. His contributions to the health sector include spearheading key national initiatives, such as the development of Qatar’s National Physical Activity Guidelines, and providing strategic input on child protection and well-being, health policy and health innovation.
Abdulla held leadership positions at Aspetar where he served as Acting Director of the Exercise in Medicine (EIM) Department. He managed the EIM-Qatar clinic and led several community health initiatives, including the Qatar Active Schools Program, and the Qatar Active Healthy Kids Report Card.
Abdulla holds a Master’s in Public Health - Health Promotion from Leeds Beckett University and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Glasgow.
