Paul Farmer has been Chief Executive of Mind, the leading mental health charity working in England and Wales, since May 2006. He is chair of the NHS England Independent Oversight & Advisory Group which brings together healthcare leaders and experts to oversee the current mental health long term plan for the National Health Service in England. He was awarded a CBE in 2016 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of his work in the field of mental health advocacy.
