AbdulRahman Al-Mana
City/Regional Planner
AbdulRahman Al-Mana is a City/Regional Planner working at the Urban Planning Department of the Ministry of Municipality. As a member of the Municipal Spatial Development Planning Unit, he reviews master-planned projects and revises land use and zoning regulations. Within the unit, he also acts as a specialist for all development projects occurring on heritage sites. AbdulRahman is passionate about issues regarding historic preservation, sustainable development, and issues relating to urban mobility and heat. A graduate of the Urban and Regional Studies program at Cornell University, he aims to reconnect and reintroduce the principles of Khaleeji city-building practices back into the field to build better and more sustainable cities.
