Family Support

Autism Pathway

Supporting a child with autism is a full-time commitment. This pathway is here to make sure families have the knowledge, tools, and community around them to feel confident at every stage of the journey.

03 Family Support 16x9

You are with your child every day. The services in this pathway are designed to support you in that role, from the earliest days after diagnosis and beyond.

What to Expect

Raising a child with autism can be an isolating experience, particularly in the period following a diagnosis. Many parents report feeling uncertain about how to help their child, navigating service systems with little guidance, and carrying the emotional weight of caregiving with limited support around them.

Family support services are designed to address this directly. They range from structured parent training programs that build practical skills, to counselling services that give parents a space to process their experience, to peer networks where families can connect with others who understand what this journey feels like. Many programs are available in Arabic and English, both in person and online.
