Dr. Sherifa Noman Al-Emadi has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of clinical psychology, science, and sociology. She concluded her doctorate in the field of family therapy from Manchester Metropolitan University in Britain and won the Scientific Excellence Award for the PhD class in 2009. She has also worked as a counsellor on family relation and behavioral issues, and held administrative positions in the field of research and treatment. Currently, Dr. Sharifa Al Emadi is the Executive Director of the Doha International Family Institute, a member of Qatar Foundation.
