Match Days

Heading to Education City Stadium

Plan your day ahead to account for commute time. The trams and shuttle busses will start operating four hours prior to the beginning of the match. Here is what you need to know:

Exploring Education City

No cars will be allowed in Education City on match days. If you’d like to explore Education City while waiting for your match to begin, you can either take the tram to Oxygen Park or walk in the light breeze.

Non-spectators visiting Education City

If you’re heading to Education City on a match day, but you’re not here to attend the game, this section is for you.

Jum’ah Prayer on match days

On Fridays the 2nd and 9th of December, Gate 5 and the Education City Mosque Parking will be open for people to attend Jum’ah prayers. Afterwards, the gate and parking areas will be closed as per the closures mentioned above.

To get to the mosque for the other prayers, please park your car at P33 (North East Underground Car Park - Oxygen Park) or P34 (South East Car Park - Al Shaqab) and walk or take the tram.

Non-Match Days

On non-match days, it will be business as usual in Education City. The gates will be open, private parking associated with buildings will be accessible, and the tram will be operating normal, full service on the Yellow Line.

All of Education City will be accessible except:

  • The area surrounding the Education City Stadium, including Gate 1
  • P31 (West Car Park)
  • P33 (North East Underground Car Park - Oxygen Park)
  • P34 (South East Car Park - Al Shaqab) Ground Floor only
