Qatar Foundation (QF) continued its 2015 National Day celebrations on day three at its Darb El-Saai tent, where delighted children and their parents partook in a wide range of the educational activities and games on offer.
The QF tent, the largest at this year’s festivities, welcomed Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, as well as Brigadier Mohamed Saad Al-Kharji, the General Director of the Ministry of Interior’s Traffic Department.
The dignitaries were given a special tour around the tent and were shown the several activities and games strategically designed by QF to engage participants in a bid to inspire innovation and creativity while also fostering a love and appreciation of Qatari culture and history.
This year Qatar Foundation’s activities are focused on five main themes: Education and Lifelong Learning; Research and Innovation; Culture and Heritage Preservation; Sustainability; and Sports, Health and Wellbeing. Visitors will be able to enjoy QF’s National Day celebrations until Sunday, 20 December.
