Forty-nine full-time students from the 'Advanced Master in Large Project Management' program of HEC Paris in France visited Qatar as part of their study trip.
During their six-day stay in Qatar, from 15 to 20 April, they got to learn more about ongoing projectsthrough briefings and site visits, as well as the culture, heritage and history of the country through their weekend exposure to various cultural activities.
Among the site projects, this group of students visited the Red Line South Metro, Msheireb Downtown Doha, and the Total Research Center. These visits were coupled with several presentations by directors and managers of these projects.
A Msheireb case study was conducted by Wolfgang Amann, Associate Professor at HEC Paris in Qatar. In addition, several keynote speakers shared their insights on the economic history and development of Qatar as well as the challenges of doing business in the region.
