Carnegie Mellon University was ranked 25 on the ‘Best National Universities’ list in the recently released
U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 Best College Rankings.

The 2015 edition of
Best Colleges includes data on nearly 1,800 schools nationwide to help parents and students evaluate their options. Of those, 280 are considered National Universities, which emphasize faculty research and offer a full range of undergraduate majors, plus master's and PhD programs.
Carnegie Mellon ranked number 8 for the ‘Best Undergraduate Business Programs’ list, number 2 in ‘Management Information Systems’ and number 1 for ‘Graduate Schools in Computer Science,’ reflecting the university’s high quality programs and award-winning faculty.
Other schools listed at the top were Princeton University, Harvard University, Yale University and Columbia University.
