The master printmaker, internationally known for his complex engravings, will give his Crossing Boundaries Lecture titled, "Floating Graphics."
Japan-born artist Koichi Yamamoto will present a lecture on the last 30 years of his printmaking work of merging traditional and contemporary approaches to printmaking. His prints explore issues of the sublime, memory, and atmosphere. He will also talk about his recent focus on functional forms and intaglio printed kite. Discovery is at the heart of Yamamoto’s work.
