Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar and Qatar Foundation will be organizing an event to officially inaugurate the Experience Tanzania photo exhibition. This photo exhibition stems from a yearly project that allows Cornell’s aspiring physicians to explore and immerse themselves in Tanzanian urban and rural cultures.
Dramatic images of lions, elephants, giraffes, and more jostle with panoramic shots of Tanzania’s awe-inspiring landscape and sensitively observed portraits of the people who inhabit the land. One wall of the exhibition will be dedicated exclusively to photographs of WCM-Q students providing basic medical services to the local population in Tanzania.
The launch event takes place on Tuesday, 8 October 2019 at 4pm, and the exhibition runs from 8 October until 1 December 2019.
