Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI), part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University, will host a Creative Space Fair to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines among children and teenagers through innovative learning activities. The fair will explore several themes including coding, electronics, robotics, chemistry, thermodynamics, and renewable energy.
Participating institutions include STEM Hub from Texas A&M University at Qatar, Qatar Scientific Club, ibTECHar, Tebyan, and Geek Express. Each will host their STEM activities to help students learn in an engaging and creative way. For example, STEM Hub will present a live science show. Other activities include Arduino programming, 3D printing, laser cutting, mobile application development, and robotics.
The activities cater to three different age groups: 6 years and under, 7-10 years, and 11-14 years.
