YA HALA

Ya Hala, which translates to 'welcome' in Arabic, is the annual finale of international and university orientations for all first-year Education City college students.  It is a celebrative event to kick-off the academic year that features speakers, skits, food, giveaways, music and more. Ya Hala's key message to incoming students is that in addition to their respective campuses, they are a part of the larger Education City community.

All first year students should attend on Thursday, August 20th @ 8pm in the Recreation Center Green Gym.  Please remember to bring your ID with you to claim your free gift!  For residence hall students, buses will be provided from FB-3 beginning at 7:45pm.  If you have any questions about Ya Hala please contact Ameena Hussain, QF Student Activities Officer, at amhussain@qf.org.qa.
