BQFP contributes to Qatar Foundation's mission of education and community development through its three-fold mission of publishing books in English and Arabic, promoting knowledge transfer of the publishing industry, and development in reading and writing across various age groups in Qatar and the region.

The mission of BQFP is to publish quality books - for children, fiction and non-fiction for adults, information titles, as well as academic monographs. The first list of titles published under the BQFP imprint will be released in 2010.
