What is Qatar Leadership Academy?
Qatar Leadership Academy is a hallmark of educational excellence throughout the region. Founded in 2005, this unique learning institution is responsible for shaping tomorrow’s leaders today.
Based in Al Khor, Qatar Leadership Academy (QLA) is a boarding school for boys in middle and high schools (Grades 6-12). This highly regarded academy promotes exceptional standards in its students' academic, athletic, social and character development.

QLA is the result of an innovative partnership between Qatar Foundation and Qatar Armed Forces. A holistic approach to youth development provides the highest standards of education to develop young men into responsible future leaders.

An International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, QLA is authorized to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). The IBDP is enhanced by Heritage and Leadership programs, as well as a unique educational program in English.

Graduates have the opportunity to continue studying at local and international universities, or to pursue military careers in the Qatar Armed Forces, or other internationally recognized military colleges.
